Exciting Announcement for 1st Grose Vale Scout Group!
We're thrilled to share some fantastic news with our community. Scouts NSW has officially secured a Funding Agreement with the NSW State Government through the WestInvest Grants Program. This significant milestone propels us to the next phase of constructing our $1.6 million state-of-the-art hall.
As we embark on this exciting journey, we look forward to keeping our parents and leaders well-informed. In the upcoming year, we'll be organising an information night to provide detailed insights into this remarkable development. Stay tuned for more details and let's celebrate this milestone together!
Venturer's up and running at Grose Vale
On 13 October 2020, 1st Grose Vale Scout Group opened the doors to the new Venturer Unit. Meetings are run between 6.30pm - 8.30pm Tuesday nights at the Scout Hall, Mill Rd Kurrajong.
Venturers is the third Section of Scouts, for young men and women aged 14 - 17.
As a Venturer, you may find yourself exploring wilderness Australia, camping above the snowline or diving on coral reefs. You could be abseiling into a limestone cave or climbing a sheer rock face. Perhaps you’ll learn white water kayaking or ride your mountain bike on an expedition across real mountains.

Joey's up and running at Grose Vale
On 5th August 2019, 1st Grose Vale Scout Group opened the doors to the new Joey Unit. Meetings are run between 5.15pm - 6.15pm Wednesday afternoons at the Scout Hall, Mill Rd Kurrajong.
Joey Scouts is the first Section of Scouts, for boys and girls aged 5 - 7. It focuses on fun and friendship, and is a gentle introduction to a world of challenges and adventures through Scouting.
A young person can join the Joey Section at any time after their 5th birthday provided they are attending school full time.
